Mayor's Christmas Giving Appeal
Each year the Mayor of Camden holds a Christmas Giving Appeal asking residents to donate goods and toys to those in need in the Camden community.
The chosen charity for 2023 is Turning Point Camden.
TURNING POINT CAMDEN
Turning Point Camden is a not-for-profit community welfare and drop-in centre. It is a place where men and women are empowered to make the necessary changes that will allow them to move forward with their lives. For without change, nothing changes.
Turning Point Camden provide services that alleviate stress by meeting an immediate need and give people options to choose a way forward. This is achieved both onsite through a stocked food pantry and through a referral process which connects both individuals and families to services where more specialist support is required.
Turning Point Camden are accepting donations of toys and non-perishable food items.
Donations (unwrapped) can be dropped to any of the following locations:
- Camden Library
40 John Street, Camden
- Narellan Library
Cnr Queen and Elyard Streets, Narellan
- Oran Park Library
72 Central Avenue, Oran Park
- Camden Civic Centre
Cnr Mitchell and Oxley Streets, Camden
