Multicultural March and Harmony Day Activities
Camden Council acknowledges, promotes and supports cultural diversity in our local community through organising and promoting activities and events during Multicultural March and Harmony Week 18-24 March 2024 which also celebrates around Harmony Day (21 March each year).
Multicultural March is an initiative of the NSW State Government and is a symbol of its determination to foster a society where everyone can make a commitment to our community and economy.
Harmony Day is an initiative of the Federal Government and is an opportunity for all Australians to celebrate living in a culturally diverse society, to say no to racism and to re-commit to the values of harmony. This is an ideal opportunity for the Camden community to come together to celebrate and recognise its cultural diversity.
Camden Council's Cohesive Communities Reference Group celebrates Harmony Week in March by supporting a diverse range of activities for all to enjoy.
