Multicultural March and Harmony Day Activities

Camden Council acknowledges, promotes and supports cultural diversity in our local community through organising and promoting activities and events during Multicultural March around Harmony Day (21 March each year).

Multicultural March is an initiative of the NSW State Government and is a symbol of its determination to foster a society where everyone can make a commitment to our community and economy.

Harmony Day is an initiative of the Commonwealth Government and is an opportunity for all Australians to celebrate living in a culturally diverse society, to say no to racism and to re-commit to the values of harmony. This is an ideal opportunity for the Camden community to come together to celebrate and recognise its cultural diversity.

Join us in celebrating the diversity of Camden at the Camden Cultures event.

Camden Council's Cohesive Communities Advisory Group celebrates Multicultural March this year on Harmony Day, Saturday March 21, 2020 with its annual Camden Cultures event 4pm-10pm at Perich Park, Central Ave Oran Park. The program includes cultural performances and fashion parade, food and drink stalls from around the world, community information stalls and a diverse range of activities for all to enjoy.

Following the event Council will host a free outdoor cinema screening of the cultural favourite “Bend it like Beckham” at 8pm.
