Camden Cycling Reference Group

Camden Council previously had established a Camden Cycling Reference Group which it aimed to increase participation in cycling in the Camden LGA, working with and through Council and other agencies to address cycling issues in a consultative, collaborative and action-oriented approach, ensuring that cycling is a viable, complementary and practical transport option delivering environmental, health, cost and social benefits.

The desired membership for the Camden Cycling Reference Group are representatives from the general community, resident groups, sport cycling clubs, Bicycle Users Groups, Council officers, Chambers of Commerce, Walking Groups, Camden Police LAC, State Government departments (as required) and school communities. There would also be 2 Councillors on the Camden Cycling Reference Group.

Note: Unfortunately, the Camden Cycling Reference Group is currently inactive due to insufficient representatives interested.
