Small Business Month 2022 Website Banner Web

Camden Council’s March 2022 Small Business Month program aimed to give local small business owners and staff the opportunity to enhance their business’ community profile, nurture existing relationships, connect with other businesses and potential customers, and learn and acquire new skills and ideas to strengthen their business position.

How did local businesses get involved?

Pop Up Panel: Evening Event

View our amazing Pop Up Panel in March!

The event saw three local businesses share with the local business community how a range of adaptations and innovations benefitted their businesses over the last two years. They were:

Burger Frank
Help2u Pty Ltd
Performance Personal Training

Thanks to everyone who came along to learn, network and connect! Keep an eye out for the next one and tell your friends!

Workshop Series: Kickstart your social media journey

Thank you to all who attended our Small Business Month Workshop Series to kickstart your social media journey. The two-part workshop series was a big success, with local businesses learning how to stand out with scroll-stopping content and social media that magnetises their audience!

Many thanks to Monique from The Socialista for running this workshop series and supporting businesses in the Camden LGA.

Photos will be made available soon.

#camdenbought - Say thank you to a local business

Camden Council is celebrating our amazing local businesses by getting the community on board. An online thank you platform has been established to encourage the community to shout out to their favourite local businesses.

Share the link with your customers, encouraging them to get involved. Spread the #camdenlove by shouting out to your own favourite businesses!

SAY THANKYOU LOCAL BUSINESS

How to get involved

Council is calling on the community to share their thanks and shout out local businesses to form a wave of messages promoting #camdenbought. Residents will have the opportunity to feature in a video on Council's social media platforms. Some themes of a #camdenbought shout out may be:

  • Your favourite places to stay across the Camden LGA

  • Your favourite places to eat and drink

  • Best place in Camden to take the kids

  • Best places to go for a night out

  • Camden businesses you want to thank that help you explore the great outdoors

Council will then edit and produce short video montage to showcase the regions various businesses as the communities picks after Small Businesses Month has concluded.
