Relax in style and enjoy a night of live music and artisan displays at the Alan Baker Art Gallery for its latest series of events, Art After Dark @ the Gallery.

Opening hours of the Gallery will be extended, inviting you to visit on Friday nights in April (14, 21 and 28 April), 6-8pm. Residents are invited to take this opportunity to also view the current exhibition, Baker’s Bouquets, which is scheduled to end in May.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said the benefits of the Art After Dark @ the Gallery initiative extended beyond art.

“These activations provide such fantastic employment opportunities for local artists and musicians, with engaged audiences there to explore local talent and celebrate culture,” Cr Fedeli said.

“Increasing foot traffic through the Camden Town Centre, the events will support our local night-time economy, encouraging visitors to dine in one of Camden’s many eateries.

“The music, art, and installations at the Art After Dark @ the Gallery initiative each Friday night will provide the perfect way to end the week. I would encourage everyone to join us at the Gallery – I can’t wait to see you there!”

Bookings for each Friday night open the Saturday prior, at 12pm – and they are essential! For more information, and to book your spot, visit https://www.camden.nsw.gov.au/community/support/cultural-development-and-arts/art-after-dark-the-gallery/
