Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Initiative
Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Initiative
Some people have disabilities that you can’t see. These are called hidden disabilities.
The Sunflower symbol is used globally. It helps people with hidden disabilities show that they might need:
· More time
· More help
· More understanding
· They can wear a Sunflower lanyard, badge or pin. 🌻
This helps others know they might need support.
· The sunflower helps make everyday life more inclusive and supportive.
🌻 Here's what Council is doing
Council is proud to support the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Initiative.
This helps make our community inclusive, kind, and accessible for everyone.
