The Camden Visitor Information Centre is your gateway to discovering the best of Camden and the surrounding region. Conveniently located within the historic John Oxley Cottage at 46 Camden Valley Way, Elderslie, the centre offers friendly local advice, visitor guides, maps, brochures, walking tours, attraction information and inspiration for your next Caden adventure.

John Oxley Cottage stands on land originally granted to explorer and Surveyor General John Oxley by Governor Lachlan Macquarie in the early 1800's. Believed to have been built in the 1890's as a typical workman's cottage, the building is an important part of Camden's heritage and today welcomes visitors seeking to learn more about the area's rich history and attractions.

Visitors can browse a carefully selected range of gifts, souvenirs and specialty items, collect brochures on local destinations, self guided heritage walks, attractions and experiences, and receive personalised recommendations from knowledgeable staff.
