Live Music returns to the streets, venues and public spaces of Camden as Live'n'Local 2026 rolls out a six week celebration of local sound, creativity and connection. Running every Saturday from 9 May to 21 June, this vibrant program transforms Camden into a living stage showcasing the depth of talent across our region while bringing energy and atmosphere to the town centre.
At the heart of the program is a commitment to supporting local musicians and performers, creating accessible, paid and high-visibility opportunities to share their craft. From acoustic sets and emerging artists to seasoned performers, Live'n'Local invites the community to experience live music in unexpected places, from cultural venues to Camden's dedicated busking locations.
This years program proudly builds toward a global moment, Make Music Day on 21 June, where Camden joins cities around the world in celebrating the power of music. Expect a full day of performances, spontaneous moments and a buzzing street culture as local artists share their talent.
What to expect:
- Live performance every Saturday across the town centre
- activation of designated busking sites, enlivening the street
- a mix of indoor and outdoor pop up performances
- opportunities for local artists to connect, perform and grow their audience
- a community wide celebration of Make Music Day

For artists:
Live'n'Local provides a platform to perform, build experience and connect with new audiences. Keep an eye for opportunities to get involved through Camden's Creative Directory and Busking Program.
For community:
Come along, stay a while, and support local. Every performance adds to the rhythm of Camden, creating a place where creativity is seen, heard and celebrated.
