Access and Equity

Access and equity means that everyone can take part in their community.
This includes social and economic opportunities — no matter a person’s background, ability, or situation.
Camden Council's  Community Strategic Plan shares the vision for the people and place of the Camden Local Government Area over the coming decades. It was created after listening to residents and learning what is most important to them.

The Camden vision is that Camden will be a place that is home to an enriched and connected community, where all people are welcomed and belong, can participate fully in their local community, a range of community events and celebrations, and are supported by high quality social and health services.
