Community Satisfaction Survey

In September 2025, Council commissioned Micromex Research to conduct a representative community survey with residents living in the Camden Local Government Area (LGA). In 2023, similar research was also conducted allowing Council to evaluate any changes across the last 2 years. 

Why?

  • Identify the community’s perceived quality of life living in Camden LGA;
  • Explore overall levels of satisfaction with Council’s performance;
  • Assess and establish the community’s satisfaction in relation to activities, services, and facilities; and
  • Determine the community’s satisfaction with contact and preferred methods of contact.

How?

  • Mixed Mode survey (phone=403, online=76) to N=479 residents; and
  • We use a 5 point scale (e.g. 1 = not at all satisfied, 5 = very satisfied). 

When?

  • The survey was conducted between 8 September – 7 October 2025.
