This project received funding for this project, as part of the Sport Infrastructure Recovery Fund 2022-23.

Camden Council has commenced improvement works to Camden Sports Club.

Stage One works, due to be completed at the end of November 2025, includes:

• Installation of a lift providing access from the ground floor to the function room;
• Improvements to the front entrance; and
• Refurbishment of:
  • Amenities on the east (kitchen) side of the ground floor and an ambulant toilet in the male and female amenities;
  • Amenities on the first floor including an accessible toilet and an ambulant toilet in the male and female amenities; and
  • Function room. 

Stage Two works, due to be completed at the end of March 2026, includes the refurbishment of the amenities on the west (gaming room) side of the ground floor including an accessible toilet. 

While the first stage of work will require the front entrance off Cawdor Road to be closed, the Club will remain open with access available via the back entrance. Once Stage One works are complete, the front entry will reopen to the public.
