Steps to Second Chances Campaign
About the Campaign
This October, Camden Council is proud to present Steps to Second Chances, a month-long community campaign that combines healthy, active lifestyles with animal welfare.
The initiative encourages residents to explore Camden's dog-friendly parks and walking tracks while learning more about pet adoption, fostering, and responsible pet ownership, and encourages cat owners to provide enriching activities that support their pets' health and wellbeing at home.
Throughout the campaign, participants can visit a range of locations across the Camden area and discover interactive campaign signage featuring:
- Fun pet facts
- Responsible pet ownership tips
- Inspiring adoption success stories
- Profiles of animals currently searching for their forever homes
Whether you're walking your dog, exercising your cat safely, or simply enjoying the outdoors, every step helps raise awareness for animals in need of a second chance.
Join us this October and discover how you can support animal welfare while staying active in your local community.
