Sunburst 2025

The Camden Kerbside Exhibitions are a program of curated street exhibitions which showcase local talent in an accessible public setting by displaying images of artists’ works on bins and balustrades through Camden’s CBD and on bus shelters across the LGAFor the next exhibition of 2025, artists who live or work in the Camden, Campbelltown, and Wollondilly LGA’s are invited to submit works which respond to the theme “Sunburst” — an exploration of light, heat, energy, and colour in all their vibrant forms.

Sunburst: A Celebration of Light and Colour.

Celebrating the energy, heat, and vibrancy of summer through bold, luminous works that play with light, shadow, and colour. Sunburst is about the glow of golden afternoons, the shimmer of sunlit surfaces, the saturation of colour in full bloom, and the playful dance of shadow and light. It's about movement and stillness, warmth, and joy — a sensory celebration of the world lit brightly. We encourage artists to interpret the theme through personal, cultural, or environmental lenses. We’re looking for work that ignites the senses and reflects the emotional, visual, or physical impact of summer’s brilliance. Let your creativity burn bright. Show us your interpretation of the sun at its peak — how it transforms landscapes, moods, memories, and stories.
