It’s your last chance to secure tickets for the 2024 International Women’s Day Gala, where Camden Council will #inspireinclusion while raising funds for local charity, Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard.

The event, taking place at Gledswood Homestead and Winery on Thursday 7 March from 5.30-9pm, will feature:

  • A two-course meal and drinks;
  • A speech by keynote speaker, Jana Pittman;
  • A Mayoral address;
  • Presentation of the Camden Woman of the Year Award; and
  • Networking opportunities throughout the night.

Jana Pittman, a two-time athletics World Champion and four-time Commonwealth Champion, said she was eager to meet and speak with attendees.

“I’m excited to be joining Camden Council for their International Women’s Day Gala event,” she said.

“I will share my story and thoughts on inclusivity and how we can all inspire each other to bring about change. I hope to explore some old-school ideas and have the room re-think their ability to conquer life's challenges.”

Eva Pavlakis, co-founder and director of platinum event sponsor, PNP Constructions, said she was excited to join the community to celebrate women.

"As a female director and co-founder of PNP Constructions, I'm excited to announce our support for the Camden Council International Women's Day Gala as a platinum sponsor. It's a chance to celebrate women's remarkable achievements and unite in solidarity. As Camden’s Business of the Year, we're dedicated to supporting and giving back to our local community,” she said.

“International Women’s Day is more than just celebrating successes; it's about empowering women to thrive.”

Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney, said the event would be unmissable.

“I can’t wait to see everyone there and I’m particularly keen to hear Jana Pittman tell her inspiring story,” she said.

“It will be a fantastic night with ticket proceeds going to a very deserving local charity, so I encourage everyone to get their ticket before they sell out.”

Tickets are on sale until 28 February, or until sold out. Tickets are $110 per person or $1,000 for a table of 10. It includes a two-course meal, drinks package and gift.
