Basketball, Multipurpose and Hard Courts
There are a number of basketball, multipurpose and hardcourts available for community use throughout the Camden LGA.
The following sites are managed by Camden Council:
- Birriwa Reserve Youth Space (Waterworth Drive, Mount Annan). There are two basketball courts at this location. This venue is open and free for public use from 8am to 10pm on a first come, first served basis. Floodlights at this venue are operated on a free push button system from 5pm - 9pm. There are public amenities at this location that are always open and available.
- Catherine Field Reserve (cnr Chisholm and Catherine Fields Roads, Catherine Fields). There is one multipurpose court at this location. This venue is open and free for public use from 8am to 10pm on a first come, first served basis. Floodlights are available and the applicable floodlighting fees apply. All floodlighting bookings require a minimum of three business days-notice. There are public amenities at this location that are always open and available.
- Cunningham Park (Water Gum Road, Gregory Hills). There are two basketball courts and four netball courts at this location. This venue is open and free for public use from 8am to 10pm on a first come, first served basis. Bookings can only be secured by formalised user groups who hold Public Liability Insurance to the value for $20million. Floodlighting at this location is automated and operates from 5-10pm at no cost to customers. Amenity keys are issued as part of formal bookings only.
- Doohan Reserve (Skaife Street, Oran Park). There are hardcourts at this location, with one set up with a netball ring and one with a basketball hoop. This venue is open and free for public use from 8am to 10pm on a first come, first served basis. Floodlighting is available from 5-9pm and are operated on a push button system at no cost to customers. There are public amenities at this location that are always open and available.
- Fairfax Reserve (2 Sir Warwick Fairfax Drive, Harrington Park). There is one basketball court at this location. This venue is open and free for public use from 8am to 10pm on a first come, first served basis. There is no floodlighting available at this location.
- Gledswood Hills Reserve (Longview Road, Gledswood Hills). There is one basketball court and one half court at this location. This venue is open and free for public use from 8am to 10pm on a first come, first served basis. There is no floodlighting available at this location. There are public amenities at this location that are always open and available.
- Harrington Park Reserve (off Sir Warwick Fairfax Drive, Harrington Park). There are two netball courts at this location. This venue is open and free for public use from 8am to 10pm on a first come, first served basis. Bookings can only be secured by formalised user groups who hold Public Liability Insurance to the value for $20million. Floodlights are available and the applicable floodlighting fees apply.
- Jack Nash Reserve (Currans Hill Drive, Currans Hill). There is one basketball court at this location. This venue is open and free for public use from 8am to 10pm on a first come, first served basis. Floodlights are available and the applicable floodlighting fees apply.
- Julia Reserve (Peter Brock Drive, Oran Park). There is one basketball court at this location. This venue is open and free for public use on a first come, first served basis. Floodlighting at this location is automated and operates from 5-9pm at no cost to customers.
- Liquidamber Reserve (17 Liquidamber Drive, Narellan Vale). There is one multipurpose court at this location. This venue is open and free for public use on a first come, first served basis. There is no floodlighting available at this location.
- Narellan Sports Hub (6 Porrende Street, Narellan). There are 44 netball courts at this location. This venue is open and free for public use from 8am to 10pm on a first come, first served basis unless there is a group with a confirmed booking. Bookings can only be secured by formalised user groups who hold Public Liability Insurance to the value for $20million. Floodlights are available and the applicable court hire and floodlighting fees apply.
