The largest collection of art by Australian artist, Alan Baker is now on exhibition at the new public art gallery in Camden.

The gallery, known as the Alan Baker Art Gallery, is in the heritage listed building, Macaria (C.1860), which has been renovated to create the dedicated art space.

Macaria was built for Henry Thompson in the mid 19th century. It showcases gabled windows, high chimneys, stone trim, wooden porch and veranda. Macaria was once a Grammar School and for many years the home of Dr. F.W. West and later other medical doctors. 

OPEN:  Thursday to Sunday, 11am till 4pm .
