Wet Play Wheelchairs - Curry Reserve Water Play Space
Camden Council has three wet play wheelchairs available for use at Curry Reserve Water Play Space.
The child and adult size all terrain wheelchairs were designed by a team of specialist paramedics and tested and approved by people with restricted mobility.
The wet play wheelchairs will provide and improve access to the water play area for children and people living with disability.
Council is excited to be able to provide a variety of Wet Play Wheelchairs, including a small, medium and large chair to meet the needs of the community.
These chairs are available for outdoor use only and are only to be used within the Curry Reserve Water Play Space.
A carer will need to assist in using the wet wheelchair and must be with the user at all times.
Come along to Council’s information and induction session about how to book and use these great all terrain wheelchairs that enable everyone to enjoy the Water Park to their full ability.
Council will host two sessions on:
When: Monday 9 September, 2019
Sessions Times: 2pm - 3pm or 3.30pm-4.30pm
Where: Curry Reserve Wet Play Space, Camden Valley Way, Elderslie
