End lockdown with a bang and help cement Camden in Guinness World Records history by being part of the biggest online trivia event in the world!!

Council will be attempting to break the Guinness World Records title for the largest online quiz on Sunday 10 October, 6-7.30pm, and we need everyone’s help to make it happen!

To be in the running to break this record, more than 1,623 participants need to complete all questions and actively take part in the quiz for the whole time. You are considered a participant based on your log in details – so, for example, if a family of four takes part on one computer, they are considered one participant.

Residents can register multiple members of their family on multiple devices to add to the number of participants, however they must complete all questions and actively participate in the entire quiz for the whole time.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said a united Camden community can create history from the comfort of their own homes.

“Camden residents have shown they love getting behind exciting, heart-felt initiatives and working together, and this has really shone through during the harder times of the pandemic. I have no doubt this attempt will be no different,” Cr Fedeli said.

“We are lucky enough to have so much history in our area and it is so exciting to be aiming to break a Guinness World Records title and have Camden in yet another historical book.

“This attempt is about showing how well we can stick together while having fun and making it a fantastic final hurrah that we will all remember for years to come.

“I encourage everyone to register themselves to take part in the online quiz. I am confident we can give this a real go. Let’s go, Camden!”

Registrations for the quiz are being hosted by Corporate Challenge Events on behalf of Council. For more information and to register, go to bit.ly/camdenworldrecord
