Enjoying Camden is set to be much more exciting when restrictions lift, with Council planning to inject creativity, life and colour back into the vibrant Camden Town Centre.

Council has been busily working behind the scenes on the next #camdenlive Kerbside exhibition.

The #camdenlive Kerbside exhibition will provide a colourful streetscape throughout Camden Town Centre, making it the perfect backdrop for locals to safely stroll, enjoy company and celebrate being part of a wonderful community.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said it was a great opportunity for up-and-coming artists to be a part of the excitement of a vibrant future.

“Camden is home to so many creatives and there is no better time to give them an opportunity to showcase their work when we are all out and about safely together, hopefully very soon,” Cr Fedeli said.

“I encourage all of our local creatives to put their work forward and I look forward to seeing our Town Centre and the entire Camden area enjoying themselves all together in the future.”

Local creatives are reminded of the creative@camden directory, which is an inclusive and publicly accessible directory that supports creatives in all industries. Local artists, performers, creative professionals, arts organisations and special interest groups across all artforms and creative services are encouraged to register their details, so Council can engage the appropriate creatives in future campaigns.

Expressions of interest for artist submissions to take part in the Kerbside Exhibition are now open. For more information, and to submit, go to bit.ly/camdenlivensw
