Enjoying live music may be some time away but we’re bringing it right to your living room with Camden LIVE on Saturday 21 June.

To celebrate World Music Day, Council has organised a line-up of emerging local talent to perform live on stage at Camden Civic Centre, to be premiered on Council’s Facebook page.

World Music Day celebrates music in all forms and invites everyone around the globe to unite and enjoy music as an unstoppable force that has the power to uplift, sooth and elevate. Camden LIVE will feature singers, songwriters, bands, original music and covers, with an awesome line-up including sets by:

  • The Honey Sippers;
  • Kombee;
  • Nebula Fuzz;
  • Avenyou;
  • Asteroid Blues;
  • Rose Cole; and
  • Manning Patston.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli, said the event would be mutually beneficial for both residents and local performers.

“We have all missed going out and enjoying live music and our line-up will give the community its first winter gig in the Camden area,” Cr Fedeli said.

“World Music Day is celebrated across over 120 countries to honour both amateur and professional musicians, and I cannot wait to listen to our locals back on stage.

“I encourage residents to follow Camden Council on Facebook and tune in to enjoy some of the best local talent in the area.”

Camden LIVE will be aired on Council’s Facebook page from 6pm on Sunday 21 June from Camden Civic Centre.
