Living a healthy lifestyle will be made much easier after Camden Council’s Healthy Living Expo at Onslow Oval this Sunday.

The annual event will feature businesses and organisations promoting health and wellbeing initiatives.

Plus Fitness Narellan Manager, Jodey Donaldson, said the day provided a great opportunity for families to take their first step towards getting active.

“We believe meeting with our community members is a massive part towards helping everyone in their path towards healthy living,” Ms Donaldson said.

“It is a great event with plenty of providers around. We’ll be giving out some free giveaways and also run some competitions on the day. So, come down and join the team towards a healthier life.”

The expo will run in conjunction with the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon, with kids aged 6-15 years participating in a swim, cycle and run around Camden Town Centre.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli, said it will be a perfect day for the whole family to enjoy.

“It’s so important for all of our residents to remain fit and active for their overall health and the Healthy Living Expo will help link our residents to some great service providers in our area,” Cr Fedeli said.

“Residents will also be able to learn about healthy lifestyles including what food or drink is good or bad for you.

“Both events provide a fantastic opportunity for residents to enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Camden while gaining valuable knowledge.”
