Camden Festival is set to light up your screens at home with the annual event going online for the first time in 2020.

Council has put together a range of exciting online events to keep the community entertained throughout the month of September including:

  • Mystery celebrity chef cooking demonstration;
  • Kids cooking demonstrations;
  • Listen while you wine and dine online;
  • Learn to Dance Workshop;
  • Superhero dress up competition with the winner getting a special visit from Batman;
  • Favourite picnic spot competition;
  • $5 Youth Movie Night, screening Jumanji: The Next Level;
  • Special behind the scenes look at how to run a small business with Burger Frank and the Epicure Store;
  • Flower Crown Workshop and much more.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli said the community had the chance to celebrate the area from their living rooms for this year’s Camden Festival.

“Camden Festival is usually a culmination of exciting events throughout the month of September and although we cannot enjoy them out and about all together this year, it doesn’t mean we still can’t have a good time on our devices at home,” Cr Fedeli said.

“Council has set up fantastic ways in which we can celebrate Camden Festival including having a mystery celebrity chef, to be announced shortly, recording a cooking demonstration much like as we have had at TASTE Camden for many years.

“I encourage the community to jump online and celebrate what makes Camden so great all together.”
