About the Project

At its meeting on 11 April 2017, Council endorsed the delivery of a youth play space at Harrington Park Lake Reserve, Harrington Park.

In May 2017, Council consulted with the community through the 'Your Parks Your Voice' portal and the feedback received was used to develop the preliminary design plans for the park.

The new youth play space will feature challenging ninja warrior style playground equipment, climbing equipment and areas for skating, scooters and bikes.

The project will also include a new picnic shelter, picnic facilities, seating, parking, accessible amenities and landscaping.

Construction of the park commenced in mid-June 2018 and was officially opened to the public on 3 November 2018.
