Viewing platform removal at George Caley Reserve
The viewing platform at George Caley Reserve was constructed in 1999 to provide a facility to view the hills and scenery surrounding Mount Annan.
Over recent years, Council has received numerous complaints regarding anti-social behaviour and malicious damage to the viewing platform.
Despite Council’s ongoing repairs to this facility, the vandalism and behaviour continued. Based on feedback from residents, Council has now engaged a contractor to remove the platform and make the site safe.
This work is expected to be commence on Friday 14 December 2018 and be completed within a week.
