Public Spaces Legacy Program
In August 2020 the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment launched the NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program. The program provides funding to Councils for the planning, design, construction or land acquisition costs for new and existing public open spaces. Further information on the program is available on DPIE’s NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program webpage.
Councils participating in the program are to demonstrate improvements in development assessment timeframes.
Council’s Improvement Targets are:
A 5% improvement in median development and modification application determination times (gross and nett) compared against determination times over the last three years (2017/18, 2018/19 and 2019/20). This requires a gross determination time of 47.5 days and a nett determination time of 33 days. |
