$113.8 Million Recovery Package
Camden Council was proud to provide its $16.8 Million Support Package to residents and local businesses suffering the shock of COVID-19.
The first two stages had something for everyone – from rate rebates to grants; fee waivers to digital campaigns; and accelerated infrastructure work to online events.
Council has now finalised Stage Three of this package – and it’s even bigger and more beneficial for our residents, workers and visitors.
Stage Three, or the recovery phase, has an incredible $113.8 million worth of value packed into it, which is the most significant package offered to a community by a local council in the country.
This robust stage includes 65 projects and programs to be delivered across the next four years. It is focused on getting the Camden community back on its feet, with a range of exciting projects and programs.
Council is proud to invest $130.6 million across the three stages of our COVID-19 Community Support Package to support residents and local businesses suffering the shock of COVID-19. It’s estimated all three stages will boost Camden’s economy by up to $221.7 million and generate up to 507 new jobs.
