Draft Spring Farm Urban Release Area Planning Agreement
Council is placing the Draft Spring Farm Urban Release Area Planning Agreement (Planning Agreement) on public exhibition.
The Planning Agreement covers AV Jennings’ (the Developer) development in Spring Farm. The development is being delivered across 14 stages. The development is expected to yield approximately 817 residential lots.
The Planning Agreement will be the Developer’s means to deliver public infrastructure located on its land that is identified in the Camden Contributions Plan 2011. Through this Planning Agreement, the developer will be able to offset the costs of land dedication and construction of this public infrastructure against their S7.11 development contributions.
The total value of public infrastructure being delivered by the Planning Agreement is approximately $32.3M.
The Planning Agreement also contains a monetary contribution of approximately $24.7M towards the public purposes identified in the Camden Contributions Plan 2011.
The draft VPA amendment will be exhibited for an extended period of six weeks from Wednesday 30 September to Wednesday 11 November.

Note: In accordance with the safety measures implemented by Camden Council to avoid the spread of COVID-19, physical copies of the exhibition package will no longer be displayed at Council Libraries and the Oran Park Administration Building. In light of the changed exhibition protocols, the Planning Agreement will be exhibited for an extended period of six (6) weeks.
