Register of Voting on Planning Matters

In accordance with section 375A of the Local Government Act 1993, Council is required to record which Councillors vote for and against each planning decision of the Council.

The register is required to clearly describe or identify the matter being determined and how Councillors voted.

Under section 18 of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) and clause 1(3)(f) of Schedule 1 to the Government Information (Public Access) Regulation 2018, this register is identified as 'Open Access Information' and is required to be made available for public access.
