Audio Visual Recording of Meetings

Camden Council's Ordinary Council Meetings are live streamed and recorded for the purpose of ensuring accuracy of the Council Meeting Minutes and for webcasting.

Under the Local Government Act 1993, no other webcasting or recording by a video camera, still camera or any other electronic device capable of recording speech, moving images or still images is permitted without the prior approval of the Council.

Please note: recordings of meetings are not made available to the public or disclosed to any third party, except as permitted under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 or where Council is compelled to do so by law.
