Public Transport in Camden

There are currently no rail services in the Camden LGA. The nearest rail stations are at Campbelltown, Macarthur and Leumeah Stations in the Campbelltown LGA. These stations provide services to the City, Liverpool and the Airport, with connecting lines to other Sydney destinations. Bus Reform
Bus services in Camden will undergo significant reform in the next couple of years. The NSW Ministry of Transport have advised that bus services in the Camden area will be reviewed in 2008/09. This will include the provision of a Strategic Bus Corridor between Camden and Campbelltown. The public will be involved in the review process. Camden / Campbelltown Integrated Transport Strategy
Camden and Campbelltown Councils received funding from the Federal Government’s Sustainable Regions Program to undertake an Integrated Transport Strategy for the region.
Following extensive research and consultations with all stakeholders, including the local community, the Integrated Transport Strategy is nearing completion. The final strategy will be added to Council’s web site in the near future.
