Local Sporting Champions

The Local Sporting Champions program is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide financial assistance for young people aged 12-18 towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official national sporting organisation (NSO) endorsed state, national or international sporting championships or a School Sport Australia state or national championships.

Child Care Rebate

To help working families with the cost of child care, the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations are offering a rebate of up to $7,500 (indexed) per child, for eligible families.

New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS)

If you are an eligible job seeker and are interested in starting and running a small business, you may be able to access assistance through the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS).  NEIS can provide you with accredited small business training, business advice and mentoring, as well as ongoing income support for up to 52 weeks.
