Meeting Dates

At its meeting of 13 August 2007, Council resolved to move Council meetings from Monday evenings to Tuesday evenings. Therefore, commencing with the meeting of 11 September 2007, Ordinary Council meetings will now generally be held the second and fourth TUESDAY of every month.

The venue will remain at the Civic Centre Art Gallery, Oxley Street, Camden. Commencement time will also remain at its current time of 6.00pm.

Council meetings are open to the public.

2008 Meeting Dates


The last Council Meeting of the current Council will be held Tuesday 9 September, 2008.

Following the Local Government Elections, to be held Saturday 13 September, 2008, the initial meeting of the new Council is tentatively planned for  Tuesday 30 September, 2008, merely to elect the Mayor and Deputy Mayor.

The first operational Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 14 October, 2008. 

The arrangements outlined above are tentative and confirmation of these will be confirmed on this website at a later date.
