Local Government Week

It's that time of year again... Local Government Week!
To celebrate Local Government Week 2011, Camden Council will be holding a range of events and activities so you can learn more about your local Council.
This year three events will take place:
Storytime with the Mayor
Monday 1 August, 6.30pm at Narellan Library and Wednesday 3 August, 11am at Narellan Library- Year 6 Junior Elections - 'A Day in the life of a Mayor' Friday 5 August, 10am at Camden Council
- Colouring in Competition For Primary School students with winners for Kindergarten and years 1-2, 3-4, 5-6. Click here to view the form! Competition closes Friday 19 August.
The theme for this year’s Local Government Week Celebrations is ‘Empowering Communities’ Primary school students are invited to draw in the box on the form, answer the question and submit it together with details of their full name, school and grade. Entries must be submitted to Camden Council by Friday 19 August by dropping them in at Council’s Customer Service Centre’s at:

19 Queen Street, Narellan

The winners will be notified by the end of August.
