Kerbside Cleanup

The Kerbside Cleanup is provided to enable residents to easily dispose of waste that is too bulky for the normal garbage collection. Residential properties are eligible for two (2) kerbside cleanup services per financial year. The service is based on a booking system.

Residents must follow these simple steps to an easy collection: 

  1. Make a booking first  - Neverput your unwanted materials on the kerbside until you have made an appointment with Council. Phone (02) 4654 7777 to make a booking. 
  2. Get the timing right - Once you know what day your collection will be you can put your material out no earlier than 48 hours (2 days) before the collection date. This will help keep our streets clean and tidy. 
  3. Get the volume right - Only three (3) cubic metres of materials will be accepted from each property (3m x 1m x 1m – approximately one box trailer load). That keeps the booking service fair and sustainable. 
  4. Make 3 piles - Separate the general waste, whitegoods and the green waste into three different piles. Tie the green waste with natural string. Please make sure the piles are neat and can be easily handled by 2 people. And remember, only 3 cubic metres in total.
