Environmental Funds and GrantsA variety of grants, funds and awards are available to individuals, schools and community groups who are doing environmental work in NSW. In some cases, funding bodies may only run specific grant funding programs for a short time or change their criteria annually to reflect different environmental themes or sustainability messages. While grants and funds are intended for proposed projects, awards are retrospective and celebrate the success of completed projects. Despite many awards are without substantial prize monies, the award title can carry far greater respect and value that in many cases could be used as leverage for proposed projects in the future.
