Due to the continual changes in the population within the area, Council is required to regularly review the ward structure.

Alteration to Ward Boundaries - 2008 Local Government Elections

 

Council is required to review the ward boundaries before the end of the 3rd year of each term and submit intended alterations to the Electoral Commissioner. Alterations to ward boundaries are based on population growth since the last election and the number of electors in each ward must not vary by more than 10%.


Council resolved at is meeting held 13 November, 2007 to adopted ward boundary changes for the Council Elections to be held on Saturday, 13 September, 2008, throughout the Camden Local Government area. The Council area is divided into 3 Wards, being North, South and Central Wards. The Ward boundaries have changed since the last Election held in 2004 and residents should be aware of new Ward structure applicable to this election. Your Ward location may have changed. Maps detailing the Wards are on view below.
