Community Management Committees
Under the Local Government Act 1993, Camden Council delegates some of its functions to Council's Community Management Committees. These committees of Council are responsible for the care, control and management of some of Council's facilities or the provision of community functions in the Camden Local Government Area.

The Access Community Advisory Group (ACAG)
The Access Community Advisory Group (ACAG) has been formed to work collaboratively with Council and other agencies to address access issues in the Camden Local Government Area (LGA). The ACAG is made up of community members, service provider representatives, Councillors and Council staff.
The community are encouraged to become involved in the ACAG either through becoming a member or by raising access issues with the group.

Bicentennial Equestrian Park Committee
The BEP Committee manages the bookings, maintenance and upkeep of the Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park on Cawdor Road, Camden.
The facility provides for a broad range of equestrian activities, both competitive as well as recreational. These include eventing, dressage, show jumping, showing, heavy horse, camp drafting, pony club, sporting horses, recreational riding and polocrosse. Club house hire.

Camden Festival Committee
The Camden Festival Committee organises the annual Camden Festival program in September each year. The Festival program includes the Street Fair; Cinema Under the Stars; Food, Wine and Music Festival and a youth-oriented SK8-OPIA skateboarding event.
A number of other community events coincide with the Festival adding to the ambience and celebratory atmosphere across Camden. These include the Seniors Spring Luncheon at Belgenny Farm and the Goulburn to Sydney Bike Race finishing in Argyle Street Camden.

Camden International Friendship Association (CIFA)
The Camden International Friendship Association has a Friendship Agreement with Kashiwa City in Japan. CIFA organises reciprocal visits and cultural awareness events to promote friendship relations between the two areas. Activities include home stay visits in Australia for Japanese students, with excursions, an International Students Reception at Camden Civic Centre and Bush Dance.
Camden High School students are also provided with the opportunity to visit Japan to visit High Schools, Primary Schools and Disneyland. The trip includes a home stay with Japanese families, a civic reception, cultural activities and trips to Kyoto, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Kobe.
The Committee also coordinates a sub-group called Youth Anime Club who meet to watch and discuss Japanese film animation and culture.

Camden Seniors Program Committee
The Camden Seniors Program Committee provides four major events over each year - the Spring Luncheon, Christmas Luncheon, Seniors Concert and a Lifestyle and Leisure Expo for Seniors.
All events are either free or lowcost and are open to all senior citizens in the local area.

Camden Town Farm Committee
The Camden Town Farm Committee is responsible for the newly developed Town Farm facility.
Council adopted the Town Farm Masterplan in May 2007 which identifies opportunities and provides direction for the Farm. A toilet facility has been constructed, and new fencing and interpretive signage installed. The Committee is working to improve the facility and prepare the Farm for community events and open days.

Leppington Oval and Tennis Courts Committee
The Leppington Oval and Tennis Courts Committee manage the bookings, maintenance and upkeep of the Leppington Oval and Tennis Courts at Cnr Byron Rd and Heath Rd, Leppington for the local residents of the Leppington and wider area.
