
Alcohol Free ZonesThe principal objective of an Alcohol Free Zone is to prevent disorderly behaviour caused by the consumption of alcohol in public areas to improve public safety.There is evidence that when Alcohol Free Zones are established in appropriate areas and operated with the required level of resources to enforce the zones that they are an effective tool in assisting Police and Council manage public safety.
